Literary Witnesses Anthology

The Literary Witnesses committee has published Fresh Testaments – a special anthology of poems celebrating the 10th anniversary of the literary program.

It includes poems by the 35 poets who have participated in the first 10 years of the series, including former U.S. Poets Laureate Billy Collins, Ted Kooser, Charles Simic and Donald Hall, Nobel Prize-winner Wislawa Szymborska (in translation), Mary Oliver, Galway Kinnell and many other national and regional poets.

The book is beautifully designed by Scott King of Red Dragonfly Press, with a glorious cover painting by artist and Plymouth member Marcia Casey Cushmore. The book will make a wonderful keepsake or gift for Plymouth members, their families and all who love great literature. All proceeds support the Literary Witnesses series, a program of the Fine Arts Board.

The book is available in the Church Office for $15.                                         –Jim Lenfestey
