John Edgerton

John Edgerton is Plymouth’s Pastoral Resident.

The Residency, underwritten by the Eli Lilly Endowment, brings promising new clergy to work in established churches for two years. He's a member of Plymouth’s clergy staff, sharing in worship leadership, pastoral care and administration. He’ll support Plymouth’s relationship with Lydia Apartments, the Drop-In Center and Third Sunday Meal.

John received his B.A. from St. John’s College in Santa Fe and a M.Div. degree from the University of Chicago. He served as a student intern at Hyde Park Union Church in Chicago.
