Seeking volunteer receptionists

Plymouth seeks volunteer receptionists to staff the desk in Jones Commons. Warmly welcoming visitors, providing directions, managing incoming phone calls, and otherwise assisting with office tasks would be the primary duties of volunteer receptionists. Computer experience would be helpful but is not required.

We request a commitment of one shift (same time, same day) weekly, every other week or monthly. Shifts run 9 AM-1 PM and 1-5 PM, Monday through Friday. For example, a volunteer could commit to work 1-5 PM on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.

For those seeking ways to become more involved with Plymouth, this volunteer receptionist position is a great opportunity. These volunteers also offer essential support to staff in light of the recent staff realignments.
