How’s Your Inner Marriage?
Barbara Arney

We're taught to see marriage as a sacred union where two people "become one flesh." Yet there is an inner marriage as well—the union of masculine and feminine energies inside ourselves, whether we're single or married. If we neglect this inner marriage, our intimate relationships suffer and our energy wanes. We look outside ourselves—to our lover, our children, our work—for the happiness that is only found within.

In this forum, you'll discover how to assess the state of your inner marriage. You'll also create an intention for balancing your masculine and feminine energies in the midst of daily life.

This is an introduction to a spiritual path with many benefits for people in the second half of life:
• More creative thinking
• A fuller range of emotions
• Freedom from fear
• A renewed relationship with the Divine
• Relationships that flow from interdependence rather than dependence and
• A source of unconditional serenity—the "peace that passeth all understanding."
