True North Groups: A Supportive and Effective Way to
Enhance Personal and Leadership Development
Bill George and Doug Baker, Sr.

Plymouth members Bill George and Doug Baker, Sr., have written True North Groups; A Powerful Path to Personal and Leadership Development. Built upon their more than 35 years of experience, Doug and Bill make a convincing case for using a True North Group, a trusting and vibrant collection of peers, to share life’s journey. These groups are present to celebrate your joys, to comfort your sorrows and to be witness to your growth and change over time.

Such groups help leaders develop their emotional intelligence while receiving carefully considered feedback. As everyone is a leader in the community, neighborhood or workplace, the experiences are widely applicable. The presentation will include personal stories as well as provide qualitative, quantitative and anecdotal evidence for the use of these communities in our lives. Following the presentation, there will be ample time for questions.
