Plymouth Listens and Learns Together
We ask you to join us in learning about the work of Bryan Stevenson. He has committed his life to achieving racial justice through confronting our shared history of how racial injustice emerged, evolved and continues to threaten our country.
As Bryan Stevenson has said: “Why history? There’s a limit to the rule of law (e.g., Brown v. Board of Education) if the decision makers are shaped by narratives that are a creation of our distorted history. There are limits to what our courts and institutions will do if we are not grounded in an historical narrative that has to change.”
