City of Bells – The Heartbeat of our Community
Minnesota leads the nation in the number of bronze bell installations and is home to some of the largest bells and carillons. Learn about clappers, peals, bourdon, and carillons as well as Community Bell Ringing and the City of Bells partnership with the Minnesota Orchestra. City of Bells is a five year old non-profit that identifies, coordinates, repairs, and celebrates bronze bell installations in our community.

Rebecca Jorgenson Sundquist & Don Hall are founders of City of Bells. Rebecca fell in love with bells when she shepherded the 47-bell carillon at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Don Hall is a community leader and visionary who takes joy in promoting the wonderful assets of our community.
