Life in an American Concentration Camp: The Japanese American Experience during WWII

On May 22 at 1:30 PM, Sally Sudo, a Japanese American, will share her experience in an American Concentration Camp during WWII. In her retirement, Sally has been speaking to schools, churches, and community groups to raise awareness about how easily one’s human rights and civil rights can be taken away based solely on one’s race or religion.

This event is a follow-up to the “Secret Warriors” play, which was presented at the History Theater, and we will have the opportunity to explore the decisions made during this challenging time in American history. Attending the play “Secret Warriors” at the History Theater is not required to participate in this event.

This experience for Plymouth church is open to everyone! Email Fran Davis at fandjontheroad@gmail.com.
