Disability Action Network Event – 11/8 at 2 pm

The Disability Action Network is hosting an event at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 8, from 2-3:30 pm.

The Disability Action Team at HAUMC was created by laity and friends.  People with disabilities recognized the need for a disability-led group working beside TABS. (Temporarily Able-Bodied.) They now have an informal Network which includes any faith community that wants to increase access and inclusion.  This speaker panel is our first public event.  It is free, will have a sign-language interpreter, and will be live-streamed over Zoom—four speakers with different disabilities and a variety of faith backgrounds, speaking from their lived experience.
