Sundays at Plymouth
In Person - Come as You Are
September – May: Services at 9 AM and 11 AM, with adult Spiritual Formation programming at 10 AM between services.
Memorial Day - Labor Day: One service at 10 AM, with adult education offered at 9 AM beforehand.
All services are offered in person and online via livestream.
The 9 AM service is led by jazz pianist and First Service Music Director Laura Caviani, with a more contemporary and intimate feel.
The 11 AM service features the full Plymouth Adult Choir and organ under the direction of Philip Brunelle, Plymouth’s internationally renowned Organist-Choirmaster.

Rev. Jim Gertmenian Returns to the Plymouth Pulpit
Sunday, September 27 at 9 AM and 11 AM
For nearly two decades, Jim Gertmenian's voice helped shape Plymouth as it is today. As our fourteenth Senior Minister, from 1996 to 2015, he led the congregation with a conviction that faith belongs in public life, helping found the Plymouth Church Neighborhood Foundation, now Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative, and The Plymouth Center for Progressive Christian Faith.
On September 27, he returns as a guest preacher with a sermon titled Reclaiming Spiritual Power, drawing on Isaiah 40:24–31 and Mark 10:37–45. His message is timely: our spiritual power is the true source of our earthly power, and reclaiming it is the work of a people committed to peace and justice.
Since retiring, Jim has helped launch an Emerging Leaders program with The Beatitudes Society, chaired the board of Faith In Public Life, and continued to preach and write hymns. He and Sam King live in Cumberland, Maine.
Whether you remember Jim's years at Plymouth or have never heard him preach, this Sunday is worth being here for. All are welcome, in person or online.

Children in Worship
Children fully participate in worship at Plymouth. During the program year, families worship together, with quiet activities and designated spaces available for younger children who need to move.
Educational programming for all ages is offered at 10 AM between services.
