Simpson Housing Services

Simpson Housing Services’ Since our beginnings in 1982 in the basement of Simpson United Methodist Church, Simpson has become a leading nonprofit providing assistance to people experiencing homelessness. In response to unmet community needs, our services have grown to include five key programs: emergency shelter, supportive housing programs for youth, single adults, and families – along with developmental and educational services for children of families in our Family Housing Program.

As a Volunteer

Remains to be established in post-COVID operations. The Homeless Memorial March, Service, and Meal will take place the evening of December 16th. The march is typically from City Hall in Minneapolis to Plymouth. We would like Plymouth participants in the march. The memorial service and meal will also take place at Plymouth. We need 15-20
volunteers to welcome guests and staff the Sanctuary and to help with food service.
