Lena Osman

Lena Osman is a Minneapolis based artists who began painting 12 years ago while living in Abu Dhabi. A young woman living with CP, Lena uses her stander daily to strengthen her legs and express herself through painting, creating a collection of over 200 original works that feature flowers, people, animals, and other ideas.

Cottage Green
16" x 20" $150 From Lena’s flower and nature series, Cottage Garden is a depiction of a sunny backyard garden, drawing on impressionist style.

Funky Jungle
16” x 20” Acrylic, paper, textile, and beads on canvas. $150 One of Lena’s first collages, Funky Jungle draws on surrealism and uses humorous juxtapositions to depict travel, discovery, and excitement.

Rainbow Fish
16” x 20” Acrylic on canvas, $150 Inspired by watching "Our Planet," Rainbow Fish was created using dried paint that had built up on Lena’s easel and paint tubes to depict coral and fish under the sea.

Shooting Stars
16” x 20”, Acrylic on canvas, $150 From Lena’s early flower series, Shooting Stars evokes flowers bursting colorfully to life.

Windy Day II
16” x 20”, Acrylic on canvas, $150 From Lena’s early flower series, Windy Day II depicts flowers and grasses jostling around in the wind by using contrasting dark and light colors.

Katharine Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald is an artist living with high functioning autism. Fitzerald produces a variety of mediums of graphite, acrylic, watercolor and digital art.

GEOFFREY MIKOL is a professional artist that owns River Bend Gallery with his family, in historic Galena, Illinois. As a person born with Down syndrome, Geoffrey has found a special connection with photography as a means of expressing himself. His artwork is stunning, catching elusive light that the eye sees but that cameras often miss. He has a talent for capturing moments in nature that still the soul and quiet your senses. In his mid twenties, Geoffrey has studied and practiced his photography for over a decade, with spectacular results. He has garnered both accolades & awards for his work along with a following of collectors and enthusiasts.

Jimmy Reagan

Born on July 6th, 1993 in St Paul, Minnesota, and creating art since 2009, Reagan is significantly influenced by van Gogh, Picasso, Mid-Century artist, and Expressionism. Reagan has a passion for color, texture, and simplicity of an image. Diagnosed with Complex Autism at age 2 1/2, Reagan’s work offers him a means to illustrate his perspective of the world.

His artwork and merchandise have raised significant dollars for numerous organizations in the Twins cities including the University of Minnesota Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic, University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, and others organizations that have offered support for Jimmy throughout his life.

Devin Wildes

Devin is a 25-year-old young man who is an accomplished artist and who struggles with severe autism. His amazing art overshadows his lack of communication skills. There is no medium that he does not enjoy. From sculpture, videography, jewelry making, screen printing, and painting in multiple mediums, Devin has the unique ability to express himself vividly through art. He has won several 1st place awards for the Davinci Fest and his art has premiered in local galleries in Stillwater, MN. Devin’s art was chosen for The Autism 5K in 2014 where his featured art piece was used on Race banners and t-shirts. Devin Wildes has shared his life’s struggles throughout the years with different media outlets. From PBS, The Pioneer Press, The Star Tribune, and Architectural Digest, Devin has been a poster boy for children with autism and fighting for his rights. Devin is a current artist at Interact, a center for performing and visual arts in St. Paul, MN. He is a spokesperson for ArtForce’s WINGS program where his work is sold to corporations and healthcare facilities who appreciate artists with healthcare and mental health challenges.

Forrest Tribute to Cheri Greer

Programs from Draktsho provide fine art opportunities for emerging and professional artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Artists are unnamed as it is culturally disrespectful for artists to associate their names with symbolic art pieces. The art sold provides financial support to maintain the program.
