Important Covid-19 Update as of March 11, 2022
Dear friends,
This week my update is short but significant. Beginning Sunday, March 13, our mask policy will change from “required” to “strongly recommended.” Please do what feels most comfortable for you. Those who choose to wear a mask are welcome to sit anywhere in the sanctuary. However, if you would prefer to sit among other masked folks for increased protection, there will be a reserved section in the sanctuary for mask wearers only. Those who wish to remain unmasked will need to sit elsewhere.
Our new mask policy applies to meetings and gatherings during the week, too. Because many in our community are at higher risk of Covid-19 complications due to age, underlying health conditions, or being immunocompromised, I would ask that if you gather in a group and someone wishes to be masked, please respect that and mask up, too.
Also, please know that this is a decision we can make because of the encouraging low numbers of Covid cases in Hennepin County. As we are well aware, conditions can change, and, if they do, our policies will be revisited. The Covid Advisory Group continues a careful watch on data and trends.
Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns: BethF@plymouth.org.
I hold you all in prayer as this pandemic wears on. May we be people of hope, may we be kind and caring, may we remain faithful in community.
Blessings,
Rev. Beth Hoffman Faeth
Minister for Congregational Care and Worship
