Facilities
The PCC facilities department consists of Custodians and Housekeepers. The custodians are responsible for setting up, tearing down, maintaining maintenance schedules, maintaining equipment, and cleaning the building and grounds. The PCC housekeepers are responsible for cleaning the building.

I handle all the general custodial duties here at Plymouth. One of my favorite tasks is managing Plymouth’s many special events. I golf and fish in the summer; in the winter, I ski and ice fish.

I love keeping everything clean and maintained around the building. I also love watching football (Chicago Bears), studying, and reading books. I enjoy spending time with my kids.

I love doing general cleaning here at Plymouth. When I am not working, I love to read, watch late-night movies, and watch classic episodes of Roseanne.

Safety
The PCC safety team is responsible for the general safety and security of the building. In addition to their safety responsibilities, the safety team also supports the facilities staff, hospitality staff, food service, and worship volunteers.

Malcolm Williams, Safety and Custodial Administrator

I was born and raised on the South Side of Minneapolis. Whittier, Stevens Square, and Phillips are my old stomping grounds.
My primary responsibilities at Plymouth are the general management of the building and supervision of the building staff, I am also the primary contact for emergencies. I manage the safety equipment, access controls, overnight responsibilities, and building closures. My duties extend to the long-term parking contracts, and I am the staff liaison for our external safety organizations, including the downtown congregations. My favorite task at Plymouth is the safety review and training I do with my team and tenants throughout the year. I also love the 3rd Sunday Meal.
In my free time, I love watching my Vikings. I love to work my smoker year-round; standing rib roast, dino beef ribs, and short ribs are my favorites to cook. I love motor sports, especially IMSA and the Classic Trans AM Series. Yes, I’m the guy who will stay up and watch the entire 24 Hours of Le Mans. I’m also a big Ford Mustang Fanatic. I’m the Safety Team Leader at Plymouth. My job is to ensure everyone’s safety. One of my favorite things to do while on duty is conversate with the members. I also like to spend my free time with my kids and help people when I can.

I’m on the safety team here at Plymouth Congregational Church. I enjoy seeing everyone leave the same way they came in: Safe. When I am not at work, I love to sing and perform.
Hospitality
The hospitality team is the first point of contact for most guests and visitors here at Plymouth. Hospitality responsibilities include answering the phones, handling member lookup requests, conducting community service intakes, and providing general building information.

My favorite task is talking with members and guests. Outside of Plymouth, I enjoy reading and taking walks in Loring Park.

I’m on the hospitality team here at Plymouth Congregational Church. One of my favorite tasks is meeting and greeting the public who visit Plymouth Congregational Church. I also like watching sports and taking frequent trips to Las Vegas, NV.
