Birdie Cunningham – Our New Director of Congregational Care

We are pleased to announce that we have hired an Interim Director of Congregational Care! Birdie Cunningham, MA, our current Pastoral Care Intern, will begin her new two-year position with Plymouth on Monday, June 16th. She will continue working with us as an Intern until then.

The Director of Congregational Care will lead our pastoral care ministry through one-on-one meetings, small groups, memorials, and by developing member-led care networks at Plymouth. Birdie has twenty years of experience in public health, has worked in hospice, is a Death Doula, and is a student at United Theological Seminary pursuing an MDiv in Interreligious Chaplaincy.
