Interim Ministry Online Survey | Please respond by December 8

Dear Friends and Members of Plymouth,

The Interim Ministry Team (IMT) wants to hear from you! Plymouth currently faces an opportunity for bold community spiritual discernment: How will we live into the purposes of our church to humbly seek and serve God within, among, and beyond ourselves? And at the same time, find sufficient financial resources to flourish? The Deacons have asked the IMT to initiate our community conversations in response to these questions. An overview of the Campus Task Force’s report and a summary of our financial challenges were presented at recent congregational convenings; you can watch the recording here.

Between now and December 8, we ask that you send us your reflections on the following:

  • What are your questions about Plymouth’s mission and margin?
  • What are your ideas to address Plymouth’s mission, revenue shortfalls, building use, etc.?
  • As we look to Plymouth’s future, what are your joys and concerns?
  • How do you see the Spirit moving in you and in our congregation? What is coming alive here?
  • Anything else you’d like to share with us?

We invite all members of Plymouth’s community – current and past – to participate in this discernment process.

Please feel free to respond via Google Form here. You can also email your responses to InterimMinistryTeam@plymouth.org, speak with IMT members in Jones Commons between services, or return your responses to the front desk. This is the beginning of a conversation that will play out over the next year.

During times of transition, we find resilience and strength in community. Let’s cultivate the enthusiasm and joy that’s emerging at Plymouth. Your participation is an essential part.

With gratitude,

Interim Ministry Team
