Plymouth Drop in Center

Plymouth Drop In has been a fixture in our community for more than 50 years. It is a safe, welcoming, and fun gathering place that offers at least two activities each week for low-income adults living nearby who are experiencing mental health challenges or other special needs.

While other county drop-in centers exist, Plymouth’s program is distinctive in its warmth and its deeper sense of spiritual community. Participants go places and do things they might not otherwise have access to — including an annual trip to Camp Knutson over Labor Day week.

Sacred Bingo

Sacred Bingo is one of Drop In’s most beloved events, drawing a large crowd on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Prizes are always needed and appreciated. Items that are especially welcome include gift cards ($5–$10), personal care products, notebooks and journals, socks, candles, mugs, and small craft projects.

Donations can be dropped off at the front desk, use the 1919 LaSalle church entrance.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart of Plymouth Drop In. They help with program logistics, crafts, bingo, walking, and field trips — but most importantly, they provide kind friendship and genuine connection to people who too often experience harassment and isolation in the world outside.
